About Ellie

I joined the Green Party at 40 because I couldn’t bear the direction politics was going in. I was horrified by Nigel Farage, by politics that left people behind and ignored the climate crisis. And I wanted to see more people standing up for my values – Green values.

I’ve worked my whole life for justice, both in the UK and abroad. After my youngest son went to school I earned a PhD, led bold local campaigns that turned "unwinnable" seats into real victories, and became MEP for the West Midlands in 2019.

As an MP, I bring compassion, clarity, and huge energy & commitment. I’m standing for co-leader because I believe Green voices, values and vision are what our country needs – and I want to do everything I can to help us deliver that transformational change!


About Adrian

I grew up in an ordinary family in Norwich. My dad was a salesman, my mum worked in a shop and I went to the local comprehensive school. I joined the Green Party at 16 because I could see the climate crisis unfolding and I knew the poorest would pay the highest price.

I became a councillor at 21, leading the rapid growth of Green councillors in Norwich and writing the manual that’s guided our election-winning success. I’ve been a CEO of two national environmental charities, and helped build the strategy that got our first MP elected.

Since 2021, I’ve served as Co-Leader of the Green Party alongside Carla Denyer and together we’ve led the party through its most successful electoral period ever. Now, as an MP myself, I firmly believe that with proven leadership we will be unstoppable, in Parliament and beyond.
